Regional Dental Coordinator
The Regional Dental Coordinator is responsible for working with community and healthcare partners across five counties to creatively re-think, innovate, plan, and manage improved and expanded access to dental services/resources in the region. Regions included are Cass, Crow Wing, Morrison, Todd and Wadena Counties.

- When should I take my child in for a dental checkup?

Dental Checkups should begin at the eruption of the first tooth and no later than age 12 months. Regular dental checkups should continue every six months or more often per your dentist’s request.
- What if I’m having a dental emergency?

If you are having an emergency, please call 320-632-0385 we will assist you with finding an office that can help you as soon as possible. If it occurs after hours consider going to your local emergency room to seek assistance until you can get in to see a dental provider during regular business hours. Here is a list of providers.

- What if travel is an issue for me?

Here are some resources for ride assistance. Some ride assistance companies can only accommodate if you are an insurance holder through their company.
Horizon Health INC. Faith in Action: Volunteers will transport and accompany individuals (who do not require physical assistance in and out of vehicles) to medical and dental appointments, grocery shopping, and pharmacy pick-ups. Blue Plus Members: Taxis, handicap vans, or bus passes are available for covered medical, dental and mental health appointments and pharmacy needs. Allows 30 miles for in-network provider and 60 miles for specialty care provider. To schedule call BlueRide 651-662-8648 or toll free 1-866-340-8648 for eligibility guidelines at least 2 business days before appointment. For bus passes, call at least 10 days before appointment.
Health Partners Members: Taxis, bus passes, and shuttle bus service are offered for covered medical, dental, and behavioral health appointments. Allows 30 miles for dental appointments, primary care, mental health, hospital, and pharmacy providers and 60 miles for specialty care providers. To schedule call, RideShare 952-883-7400 or toll free 1-888-288-1439 for eligibility guidelines. Call 3-5 business days before the appointment.
PrimeWest Members: PrimeWest Health offers transportation to and from dental appointments to qualified members for covered services. For more information, call your county of residence.
