Minnesota offers several health care programs to people who qualify.

DHS-2908-ENG Medical Assistance Information for People Living in a Nursing Home or Getting Elderly Waiver Services - This brochure helps people with decision-making when entering a long-term care facility such as a nursing home or getting Home and Community-Based services. Information includes asset assessments and the transfer of property and income, as well as liens and claims.
Bridges to Benefits
Bridges to Benefits is a multi-state project by Children’s Defense Fund Minnesota to improve the well-being of families and individuals by linking them to public work support programs and tax credits.
Eligibility
To see if you or someone else may be eligible for public work support programs, use the Eligibility Screening Tool on this website. You will be asked a few simple questions but you will not be asked for information that identifies you. It’s easy, confidential and free!
Need Assistance Completing a Health Care Application or Renewal?
Morrison County Health and Human Services has individuals who come into our Agency to assist customers with completing a MNSure Application and/or their healthcare renewals.
The dates and times someone is available are:
Thursday, February 5, 2026: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Thursday, February 12, 2026: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Thursday, February 19, 2026: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Thursday, February 26, 2026: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Please check in at the Health and Human Services Front Desk; customers are served on a first come, first served basis.
