The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 6-10-2025 at approximately 3:24 pm, their office received a report of a motorcycle accident with injuries on Basil Road north of 75th Street, approximately three miles southeast of Swanville, MN in Swanville Township.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the driver of the motorcycle, 66-year-old Kenneth Fischer of Albany, MN was traveling south on Basil Road when he struck a deer with his motorcycle. Fischer was airlifted by Life Link III to St. Cloud Hospital with unknown injuries.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Swanville First Response Team, Life Link III and Mayo Clinic Ambulance.
