The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 4-9-2024 at approximately 4:25 pm, their office received a report of a school bus accident on 355th Avenue near 61st Street, approximately ten miles southeast of Buckman, MN in Morrill Township.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, 22-year-old Christopher Olson from Waite Park, MN was driving the bus for Foley School District. The bus was traveling south on 355th Avenue when it went off the roadway in the south ditch and struck a drainage culvert. A 10-year-old female passenger from Hillman, MN was transported by family to get checked out medically for minor injuries. This case remains under investigation.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the MN State Patrol, MLMB First Response Team and Mayo Clinic Ambulance.
